Join us for a breakfast talk with Sylvain Lévy, founder of the DSL Collection, and art dealer and curator Magda Danysz on how to choose an unfamiliar path to build a collection in the 21 st century, in a private home in Little Venice.

The Levy couple approached collecting more than thirty years ago through classical art and then design; Ron Arad, Marc Newson, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, as well as many Italian designers, It was 17 years ago that the couple decided to make a strong and decisive shift and to focus solely on contemporary Chinese art. Today this collection is considered among the most important one in the world.
The key factor that differentiate the Dslcollection is its use of the latest technology to share the collection. Current projects are linked with the use of vr, video games and the metaverse. Especially they will launch during Art Basel + a VR Ukrainian Pavilion on the metaverse dedicated to Ukrainian visual art,fashion design,and music.

Founder of the Danysz art galleries in Paris (since 1991), Shanghai (2009) and London (2019) as well as the Artcare and Artransfer startups (2021), Magda Danysz (born in 1974) focuses on art, technology, and global change through culture. Throughout the years, she became an expert in street art, as well as digital art, contemporary photography, and Chinese contemporary art.
