CURATOR-LED TOUR OF JULIEN CREUZET AND ALLISON KATZ’S EXHIBITIONS AT CAMDEN ART CENTRE FOLLOWED BY A VISIT TO THE ZABLUDOWICZ COLLECTION WITH DIRECTOR ELIZABETH NEILSON
Join us for a curator-led tour of Julien Creuzet and Allison Katz’s exhibitions at Camden Arts Centre followed by a visit to the Zabludowicz Collection with Director Elizabeth Neilson.
As the second recipient of Camden Art Centre’s Emerging Artist Prize at Frieze, French-Caribbean artist Julien Creuzet (b. 1986 France) will present a new installation commissioned especially for Gallery 3. This will be his first UK institutional exhibition in the UK.
Allison Katz’s (b. 1980, Montreal, Canada) exhibition at Camden Art Centre will be the London-based artist’s first institutional solo show in London. For more than a decade, Katz has been exploring painting’s relationship to questions of identity and expression, selfhood and voice.
Inaugurated in 2007, Zabludowicz Collection’s London project space presents a varied programme of self-initiated group and solo exhibitions, commissions and residencies, drawing on works from the collection or new commissions. The programme focus is supporting early career artists and curators and is housed in a former Methodist chapel.
