LONDON GALLERY TOUR WITH VICTORIA MENDRZYK
THE CLUB is delighted to invite you to a London Gallery Tour in the company of Victoria Mendrzyk.
We will start at Alice Black Gallery and see the paintings of British artist Vincent Black. Black’s oil paintings portray deep personal emotions as he takes the viewer into hazy constructed worlds of solitary figures and vast, enigmatic landscapes.
Then we will go to Rosenfeld Gallery and see the young Iranian artist Shiva Ahmadi. Currently based in the Bay Area in California, Ahmadi’s imaginary works are inspired by the world of Persian miniatures.
The tour will continue with Pi Artworks, a Turkish gallery where we will see the paintings of Aviv Benn, a young Israeli artist based in London. Her works are metaphorical journeys into nature as a sojourn into our psyche.
At Pilar Corrias, we will discover Ian Cheng’s solo exhibition. His new work portrays the daily routine of Chalice’s pet turtle, dramatising every step in the turtle’s AI-driven cognitive model.
And we will finish the tour with Pace Gallery where we will see the paintings of the Ghanaian artist Gideon Appah. The work reflects on his childhood memories, as well as West African landscapes and popular culture.
